I play as a curious student who enjoys exploring and solving puzzles. I am following the main story but took a break to complete some side quests and complete Merlin Trialss before perpetuating on.

Nice! What did you think of the dorm room?

I've done the campaign as a Gryffindor so far, and am now working on Slytherin. However, I got too curious about the dorm rooms and made characters for every house. I think Ravenclaw will be my next one! May be a little too obsessed now...
The colours and overall aesthetic are my favourites. I also like the books and the broom landing rooftop.

Oh I haven't tried out the rooftop yet but so want to! Obviously can't land there if you're playing as another house.

I've seen a lot of people playing that for a while now. It does look good!

Been playing Baldur's Gate 3. Really good so far, definitely a contender.

Seen so many people playing this. It does look really good. Pretty impressive how widespread the hype is for this despite the style of game it is!

Agreed. The RPG elements are fun, but I can see people hating the turn-based combat and puzzles. Being DND-based, there's great stories and lore.

Are there more puzzles than regular games of this genre which could put people off or do you think less so? There's a lot of people playing who don't normally play DND style games.

Most of the puzzles are easily solved or a Google search away. Some fights require more strategy (like Moonrise Tower).

A lot of recent games only provide about 20-30 hrs of playtime, BG3 gives a lot more. Most of the difficulty can be lessened by settings or doing sidequests.

Sounds like there's plenty of content and a fair amount of flexibility.
