I loved acts 1 and 2, however, I was not fond of the performance issues and bugs in act 3. Fantastic game regardless.

Didn't have issues with performance/bugs often. For me the real negatives were story/choices. Some difficulty spikes at the end of act 2 and act 3.

Spoiler: Character Spoilers
Picking Karlach, ending was either:
  • Go to Avernus. (My Pick)
  • Watch her explode into a puddle.
  • Turn her into a mindflayer.

Shitty end for a decent character, felt rushed. Shadowheart was irritating.

Baldur's Gate 3 got it's first patch, over 1000 fixes:

Beat Act 3 last week, but I would love to give it another playthrough when they do some more DLC/updates. Anyone that hasn't done the House of Hope fight is missing out.

What a huge amount of work, kudos to Larian Studios.

Sweet mother. That really is a lot. Hope that helps people have the best experience they can with it. Despite the talk about bugs, it sounds like it's not been too bad for most players. Though I'm probably comparing it to the outrage following Cyberpunk 2077!

BG3 feels only slightly rushed, whereas 2077 was released 6 months too early.

Larian's already dropped a second patch:

Fair enough! I've heard some massive bugs and crashing issues with the new Starfield release. Unsure if it's just some early days outcry that may get a quick fix or something more serious. A few I've spoken to claim it's happening to all sorts, regardless of hardware, but I think time will tell. Hoping to get it in the next month or two.
