In my view, along with Windows XP, Windows 7 Is the most stable OS of the lot.

Seldom did I experience any significant Issues.

On the desktop I use Windows 11, in my opinion it is stable and fast. And on a laptop I use Arch.

A good number of years I used just Debian, but now I mostly stick to Windows. Games/drivers always kept me from staying on Linux too long.

Agreed.

The bootup and shutdown times are significantly quicker. The same with performing general tasks.

After a fresh installation, it is a good idea to do debloating and optimization with the optimizer program from github

Absolutely.

I've done exactly that with a few tools I have on hand. In terms of removing components and stripping the OS to your needs, I recommend this tool.

I am using Arch with BSPWM, Tried to learn Qubes OS but the networking VM wasn't playing ball. Guess I'll stick to Whonix in QEMU
