What are the pros and cons of Tor over P2P?

It hurts the network and your anonymity.
- It "privately" sends your clear-net IP to hundreds of peers and whatever tracker services
- Tor doesn't have the capacity to support high bandwidth applications like that
- You are fine downloading objects, I've downloaded .ISO files at a few GB with no issues (other than latency ofc)

You're better off using a VPN or proxy server because that's more geared for it. Maybe consider whether you need Tor in the first place.

Depending on usage, you might be better off with a VPN, as he says. TOR isn't entirely decentralized, either.
