Installing MyBB - Nefarious - 06-05-2013 Here is a tutorial on the process of installing mybb forum software, I will try to make it simple and easy to follow. What you will need. Web hosting. Mybb FileZilla(Optional) So first we want to download mybb here. Once we have mybb downloaded open your FTP client, or file manager. FileZilla can be found here. Once in file manager or FTP upload the mybb zip. Spoiler: Now extract the contents. Spoiler: Now go to yourdomain.com/install Spoiler: You should see this. Spoiler: Follow the steps. Once you have got to step four. Spoiler: Now we need to make a MySQL database. Go the Cpanel and find the settings for MySQL. Spoiler: Make a new database and a new user, when that is done add the user into the DB. Once that is done go back to the installer and fill in the information. Spoiler: Continue following the steps. Create the admin user. Spoiler: Click next and finish the install. If done correctly you will see this. Spoiler: Congratulations, you just installed mybb.
