The Issue with dating websites however, Is the fact that you never know for sure who's on the other end of the keyboard- Irrespective of how reputable the site Is. Many years ago, I created a fake female profile on one leading site that appeared very authentic. You wouldn't believe the amount of guys who actually fell for It.

There is always this inherent risk. Then again, people can hide things when you meet face to face too. They may not be hiding their gender IRL, but they may be hiding a marriage ring, or something else. You just never know.
The advice given on this thread is sound: Screw the books, go out and talk to women, even if it's online.
No dating course will ever teach you how to successfully date, because women are people, and therefore every single one is different, with different interests, personality, habits etc etc. The best way to learn, is to get used to spending time with people.

True, you never know for sure who you're dealing with.
That said, you can detect and Identify a lot about a person's character during IRL Interaction. Their body language, tone of voice and how they respond during conversation, all speak a thousand words about the type of person you're dating at the time.
