Quote:Reddit is about to get a huge new round of investment of up to $300 million, reports TechCrunch. The first $150 million is reportedly expected to come from the Chinese tech giant Tencent, the first ever Asian technology company to pass a $500 billion market value.

Which is odd to me because reddit fucking blows. It has never been any good, even when it first started it sucked.

I tend to use it for a video game I play, but I have to agree... its just a place for trolls and fake news and peoples opinions.

It's a forum for almost everything. It isn't good or special in anyway. It's just a solid free forum/community place.

With what happened regarding Huawei and recent events, China really sketches me out. I don't use Reddit anymore, but depending on the implications I might worry for those that do.
