Reddit is about to get a huge new round of investment of up to $300 million, reports TechCrunch. The first $150 million is reportedly expected to come from the Chinese tech giant Tencent, the first ever Asian technology company to pass a $500 billion market value.

Which is odd to me because reddit fucking blows. It has never been any good, even when it first started it sucked.

With what happened regarding Huawei and recent events, China really sketches me out. I don't use Reddit anymore, but depending on the implications I might worry for those that do.
