To be honest, they actually equal $175 total. The main upgrades are really Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Platinum and Diamond were added for people that donate/post excessively. We actually have >20 members that have the rank of Diamond or Platinum.

You can get all of them with points. Only the rank above you shows in the store.
Pretty sure you got Diamond without spending a cent.
Yeah, if you're active and HQ it's really not that difficult to get the upgrades. I think I actually bought bronze and the rest was through posting/activity.
