Pretty much any company that has an unregulated monopoly wins from this pandemic such as Amazon for online shopping. Besides that, high margin companies like Netflix that really only have initial investment costs but little to no ongoing costs besides maintenance, they're in a position to win as their investments were made in a pre-crisis economy. As well, companies that use user generated content to create income win as the value of human free-time is extremely undervalued because of the quarantine.

I'd say delivery-based businesses would come out even richer, Amazon is one but Uber Eats & Deliveroo are also delivery-based businesses, they are especially used to get food from some restaurant that only accept deliveries and brings your food to you. Im pretty sure they've made a lot more money compared to before the pandemic
Yeah you're right, maybe Skip too, idk though.

I think this is really well said. It's easy to guess what companies are in demand right now, but that doesn't mean all companies will continue to make money post-lockdowns. Companies like Amazon and netflix are likely to continue, as people become used to using these subscription based services. When you build up a base of repeat customers and trust with consumers, those consumers are going to come back. It's a great chance for these companies to rope in new audiences.

Any small businesses on the rise? That'd be worth looking into

It's interesting if you look at the information for companies producing masks. I noticed Etsy's stock has shot up in the past 3-6 months (compared to previously). Not sure if that can be attributed directly to mask sales, but they're doing well.

It's terrible to say the least.

Owner-drivers who're contracted at my work and also to our customers, have stopped their operations- most with families to support.
