Some people like to keep it nice and neat, every window has its place, others wind up with 500 applications open all over the place. For example, here's my current taskbar (sorry it's so small, fluxbox, so i take all the screen space I can get)
RE: What does your workspace look like? - Psi - 10-23-2017 Currently have x2 1920x1080 ASUS Screens; Though I usually keep games on the left & Spotify on the right screen. RE: What does your workspace look like? - Drako - 10-23-2017 At the moment I have one 24 inch 1920x1080 Acer monitor. I'm thinking about getting another. RE: What does your workspace look like? - Ecks - 10-24-2017 I saw a streamer with a pretty badass setup, he had 3 curved monitors that formed a semi-circle around him and a smaller lcd monitor above the middle of his main(central) monitor. He used the central monitor for his game, to the right was his stream, to the left was his programs and the small lcd showed him important information such as when someone donated. I have to say that I wouldn't mind such a set up, even if I really have no use for that much window space. I, like @mothered , use laptops, I haven't owned a tower for many many years up until recently and the one I got I am turning into a private webserver. I've taken a screenshot, copied to MS Paint and zoomed It to 200%, hence It's viewable/legible. Aside from other applications etc, It's nice to see you have VMware running. This Is my taskbar on the lappy I'm using on this board at the moment. ![]() My other systems have my VMs, IDS, anonymity configs and so forth. RE: What does your workspace look like? - Blink - 10-24-2017 On my laptop, I like to keep everything fullscreen: Spoiler:![]() Lately I've been doing less, so less spaces. Although, I do have 200+ tabs open. (usually split between 2-3 windows, but not now) RE: What does your workspace look like? - Skryptec - 10-24-2017 Spoiler: Not the best picture![]() My computer is placed under my desk along with my subwoofer, my subwoofer is placed in my desk. Impressive profile. Just as a matter of Interest, how does the GTX 1060 handle the gaming side of things? I'm not a gamer but do have the GTX 1070: Spoiler:![]() I perform a lot of memory-Intensive tasks and read/write operations, and that's where my ram (32GB) and SSD come Into the equation. It does it's job pretty well, but I'm not really a gamer either. But it does run games such as Battlefield 1 perfectly fine on max settings since I've upgraded to with i7 7700k. |
