The most secure phone is none at all. Next comes the phones supported by the Replicant project (www.replicant.us). After that I'd say the LG Nexus 5. Lineage OS with no Google apps will be good. Not too much of a phone person but I think the best security is mostly up to the one who is handling the device.

@Asura you are right one must ask themselves what do I want to do with my phone. If you want to use it for calls only then a flip phone will do the trick.
If you want a smart phone experience that's a whole other demon. And like you said security will then be up to the user.

It has a range of about 10-50ft depending on how loud you talk and is completely safe for young children.
