Anything from Google is a no go. They are inherently tracking you to sell to satan's rape gang.

I love Firefox, but I've also played around with Vivaldi.
It uses Chrome so you can Chrome addons, but it's incredibly fast, flexible and highly customizable.
I personally really like it.

This.

For example, Google knows what ads you've viewed, what you've "clicked" on YouTube, every website you visit, where you've been when using Google Maps, what apps you use and the list goes on. I've ceased using Google's services many years ago.

I'd go for brave or waterfox but guess it just depends on what you want Smile
As already said, stay away from chrome, vivaldi etc

Although I use Firefox `64.0` (latest version), I also use Brave occasionally. I first started using Brave in 2016, and it's a fine browser which has come a very long way. It has a nice UI, and more importantly incorporates privacy-enhancing features AS A SERVICE (by default).

Like I said, I use Firefox (with many privacy-enhancing extensions enabled) and always recommend Firefox. With that said, I _also_ always recommend Brave.

Good luck. Btw, which distro of Linux are you running?

It's more than google. its lifelog... we aren't even talking about the same thing here. Everyone see's only what is made visible, at least in the realm of commercial or consumer trade, goods, services... I mean, anything REALLY important, the GOV pretty much uses plausible deniability. The fact alone, that your phone tracks you even when you turn it off, says it all. These apps like google, yahoo, facebook, twitter, snapchat, instagram, ebay, amazon, and more, all contribute to selling your data to government contracted private firms. I cannot assume all of the intentions but we already have the common knowledge of what is out there already, data collection firms, data analysis engineering, the shit with AI is even more frightening because we simply have 0 grasp of its implications and effects. Facial recon, DNA tracing, Soon it will be thought control or surveillance. I watch Darpa, and the shit that we dont see is what scares me. Not just cause of the capability, but because of OUR intentions and history with behavior, rule of law, control of citizenry and property, ... we have larger issues in the world to solve, and majority of them, our controlling forces are creating by means like above. Its a never ending cycle.

Tell me, under what circumstance, would TWC need my gps info, and why would they sell it to a third party co, and not tell me about it explicitly... if not they had an incentive to keep quite. Everyday apps and tools people use, are already being used against them. Humans have a problem with abuse of control and power. $I do not trust ANY public service particularly until tested and approved.

I'm well aware that privacy, tracking, digital footprints and anonymity extends way beyond Google. If I were to name specifics and elaborate, I'd be here all day.

I've simply quoted the post.
