Best browser for linux? #1
I have tried Midori (didn't like UI), Surf net, and firefox. Unfortunately, firefox crashes when opening, so I am unable to open it. What are some other good browsers for linux?
Update: I have installed Chromium

if Firefox crashes, you will then need to fix it. that's the point of experiencing linux.

I've always stood by the phrase "Go with It until It stops working".

If Chromium does just that (work), I don't see a reason to change.

Chrome, FF, and other major browsers all support Linux. Your favorite browser on Windows will probably be your favorite on Linux too.

Just make a desktop file yourself (its ini I think) or add it with alacarte or whatever.

I use Firefox everywhere, Windows and Linux. If Chromium works though, it's not a bad option.

I personally hate this mindset. Things breaking and having to fix them is not the point of experiencing Linux, but a side-effect. It does not sound like his intention is to chase around bugs and broken things and fix them, and that is not most person's motive to use that ecosystem. Do you think companies like Netflix (mostly uses BSD), Google, and Facebook install Linux on their servers so they can fix broken things for fun? No.
