An idea I had was NSP for referrals. For every activated account that you refer you get 5-10 NSP. To help avoid people making fake accounts, aside from it being already against the rules, you can make it so that you get the NSP once the new user makes a thread and a post or something.
I think that we should have a page where one can buy/sell accounts, items and etc. For NSP. This way NSP gains value and can do more than upgrade. For refferals it could be you gain 50% of what your referral does, but if they get banned you get banned. These two things together make it so more hq posters will join the board as more existing members will refer in hope to gain NSP for stuff on the marketplace.

Not a terrible idea, but 50% is too much. Also a temporary ban is probably better than a full ban

Actually, this Is a very good point.
As It stands, NSP Is equally-earned, Irrespective of member seniority. Even a small Increase of NSP earned per upgraded tier, will serve It's purpose well.
I agree it should not be very much because then upgraded members could just make a few posts a day then get more upgrades and ranks and shit easily.
Maybe it shouldn't be on upgrade rank and rather Years of Service or Join Date
2 issues. Old members that are never active and not old members that post a bunch, but gain less than others. Ranks probably works better than years of service

I like the referral and bronze idea. That seems fair, but what if they don't want to upgrade lol? Couldn't it just be a quick manual thing ? Let's say you refer someone and they get 50posts(decent amount) - you simply fill out a form and send in and the admin will add the points to the account when he/she is free ? Idk, I feel like an automatic type thing wouldn't be ideal in this case.
