I've heard very good things about it but it just isn't really the anime for me. I enjoy watching Ecchi (with or without Harem doesn't matter) anime or a particular type of Shonen that I can't really describe.

I used to like ecchi too and watched a ton of it, but moved out of it and started getting into more deeper ones like romance.

I'm stuck in ecchi right now lol. I went from:
Pure Action > Naruto (yes this has it's own genre lol) > Romance > Ecchi/Harem

Harem genre used to be my cup of tea, but I started to get sick of it when the MC couldn't decide on one girl, and went for the friendship ending. That, or the girl I was rooting for didn't end up with them.

Mhm. I really like Highschool DxD, it's pretty much the best harem/ecchi I've found.

Highschool DxD is one of the few exceptions I don't particularly mind because it seems pretty darn obvious who the MC will end up with.
That, and my guilty pleasure is most shonen series.

I honestly really just enjoyed the plot behind it so I read the entirety of the Light Novels which is years ahead of the Anime and later on it turns into a comedic Harem (light touches of Harem that are jokingly thrown it) with a lot of serious fighting and stuff. It's a very good read.

The anime was practically bang on so if you've watched the second season of High School DxD you can just skip ahead a bit in the Light Novel. Once you catch up a new volume comes out every like 6 months.
