Of course it depends if you feel like she is actually interested in you and you have other options. But if a girl is truly interested in you, you can tell by how she texts you. Does she just answer everything you say, or bring her own opinions and starters in? Does she give a lot of one-liners and wait quite a bit between each text? Does she ever initiate the convo during a new day?
A girl that is interested in you doesn't want the conversation to go sour and have you not texting her for a few days thinking you're gone. If you stop, and she starts initiating the texts to you, then you have a good indicator she likes you and that should boost your confidence around her.
Basically, you can sum this up as not coming off as needy. Like she's your only option and you're always on her time. That attitude just sets people up for friend material and nothing more.

Okay, now that is some helpful information.
Just talk to her about something personal, preferably ask her something that will require a long answer, and just answer your own question, if she doesn't ask it back.

I have this happen pretty often, it's not hard to get it back up and going again, just depends on the type of female you're texting.
Usually, I'll ask them how there day was if I haven't asked already, ask them what they're up to, if you like them try and engage a conversation by making plans.
Hell, I even randomly start playing the question game with girls and they go along with it.
Just now as I type this, I had a girl text me and ask me what I'm up to.
Asking someone what they're doing usually works relatively well.

I work at McDonald's, carrying on conversations is a necessity when it comes to customers.

And I'm usually on grill, counter or drive-thru, mostly grill though. And I feel it, strangers are pretty easy to speak with, you'd think it'd be hard but once you get a job it surely changes perspectives.

Hey brother, no problem. And be careful with that haha. Gotta be nice and not come off as flirting. I've been nice to girls and they interpret it as me trying to get with them.
Nothing wrong with a little surveillance though, treat it right, all though it may be annoying, it'll surely benefit you getting with the girl.
