Producing a pound of human flesh takes more than 10x the resources of producing a similar quantity of a plant. Wouldn't solve world hunger.

Because psychologically it's wrong. If you know you're eating another human you will feel sick. Well, at least most will. If I put a piece of human meat in front of you and told you it was chicken and you didn't know the difference, you'd be fine with it.

Zombies and overpopulation are two completely different things. The closest we'd ever get to zombies from a scientific standpoint is a modified version of rabies.

We already do. Those who will live eternally, the Son of God is the only flesh worthy of eating. All religion goes back to Cannabilism, the son of God was the last sacrifice sent down so that we didnt have to go to hell. Orthodoxy will explain it way better than i ever will. Oh and we already do eat human meat in most of our processed foods or even taste addittives, sures its miniscule but anyways been going on for 20 years and we're way more likely to be eating lab grown synthetic meat from bugs before human. We're just not built like that anymore, unless you're mega rich then its just another sunday night dine-out.
