I ran Marleys for a good year or so almost always at max volume and never had driver problems, are you sure that was the cause?

I love Sennheiser (tried some of their studio equipment a while ago), but I was a little dubious about their earbuds since I haven't heard much. Thanks!

Skullcandy is alright at that pricerange, when you don't get a lemon. I remember I bought a pair of their over-ear headphones at an airport and they died on the flight. Other experiences with them were good and they were quick to replace the faulty headphones.

Whelp I too was like you and used to buy corded earbuds (mostly skullcandy, sent them back if one went out and got another pair from skullcandy 4 free) but almost a year ago I bought a pair of lg tonepro bluetooth headphones and I fucking love them. I haven't lost them and neither of the buds have gone out. Through and through worth the extra cash.

I can't think of any other reasonable explanation. It might have been because I fuck with my EQ a lot and almost always have some kind of bass enhancement.

I currently have a Skullcandy PLYR 1 headset for when I'm at home, and I'd rather have another pair of Kraken Pros or Raptor HS40s. I don't like having to plug in and charge my headphones/earbuds and I have a tendency to lose shit easily, so the cord helps with that.

Right! I bet everytime that cord gets a good tug because your phone slipped your ears just bleed with joy Tongue

Yeah I have a small home music studio I have open back sennheisers for which are awesome. The momentum are really good for under $100. I have a few other pairs like the vmodas and a pair of Bowers and Wilkins P5's. Compared to the $150 in ear bose I have, they are really not much better than the momentums. The only benefit is the earpiece has a perfect shape that wraps around the inside of your ear and they are sweat and water resistant. Sound quality aint much better though for the price.

love my bose sport clips for exercizing. good sound, stay fit, no problem with sweat

What's a decent quality pair I can get for ~$20 US? I don't mind replacing them every so often if they deliver good sound quality and they're fairly priced.

Lastly, barring recommendations, would stocking up on mid-range Skullcandy buds be a good idea? They deliver alright quality (would prefer better) and can handle pretty high volumes, but they're more or less guaranteed to break within a few months.

There were these cheap sennheiser knock offs on wish, can’t give an exact link but a youtuber did a video of a fake vs real one, at the time the sound was faaar better than any other earbud i had before it.
