RE: Looking for new earbuds - Satan - 03-01-2017 I ran Marleys for a good year or so almost always at max volume and never had driver problems, are you sure that was the cause? RE: Looking for new earbuds - pvnk - 03-01-2017 Lol don't get skullcandies. I just bought a pair for $30 and it was broken out the box. Not shitting you. The right bud had came detached. I just laughed cause it's pretty sad lol RE: Looking for new earbuds - Inori - 03-01-2017 (03-01-2017, 04:37 PM)pack3tz Wrote: Sennheiser MOMENTUM are great, but theyre like $50, otherwise the Symphonized NRG wood in ears got great reviews and theyre like $25, also the SHURE SE112-GR is good for aroun $40. Hope this helps! I love Sennheiser (tried some of their studio equipment a while ago), but I was a little dubious about their earbuds since I haven't heard much. Thanks! I remember I bought a pair of their over-ear headphones at an airport and they died on the flight. Other experiences with them were good and they were quick to replace the faulty headphones. RE: Looking for new earbuds - DarkMuse - 03-02-2017 Whelp I too was like you and used to buy corded earbuds (mostly skullcandy, sent them back if one went out and got another pair from skullcandy 4 free) but almost a year ago I bought a pair of lg tonepro bluetooth headphones and I fucking love them. I haven't lost them and neither of the buds have gone out. Through and through worth the extra cash. I can't think of any other reasonable explanation. It might have been because I fuck with my EQ a lot and almost always have some kind of bass enhancement. I currently have a Skullcandy PLYR 1 headset for when I'm at home, and I'd rather have another pair of Kraken Pros or Raptor HS40s. I don't like having to plug in and charge my headphones/earbuds and I have a tendency to lose shit easily, so the cord helps with that. Right! I bet everytime that cord gets a good tug because your phone slipped your ears just bleed with joy
RE: Looking for new earbuds - pack3tz - 03-02-2017 Yeah I have a small home music studio I have open back sennheisers for which are awesome. The momentum are really good for under $100. I have a few other pairs like the vmodas and a pair of Bowers and Wilkins P5's. Compared to the $150 in ear bose I have, they are really not much better than the momentums. The only benefit is the earpiece has a perfect shape that wraps around the inside of your ear and they are sweat and water resistant. Sound quality aint much better though for the price. RE: Looking for new earbuds - thelofunko - 08-06-2022 love my bose sport clips for exercizing. good sound, stay fit, no problem with sweat RE: Looking for new earbuds - kurdio - 08-20-2022 (03-01-2017, 02:04 PM)Inori Wrote: I got a pair of wood-capped Marleys a few months ago which I really liked for the anti-tangle cord and the inline controller, but I play my music way too fucking loud so the driversare more or less dead (the buds work, but the sound is really low-fi and there's zero mids). There were these cheap sennheiser knock offs on wish, can’t give an exact link but a youtuber did a video of a fake vs real one, at the time the sound was faaar better than any other earbud i had before it. |
