Looking for new earbuds #1
I got a pair of wood-capped Marleys a few months ago which I really liked for the anti-tangle cord and the inline controller, but I play my music way too fucking loud so the drivers are more or less dead (the buds work, but the sound is really low-fi and there's zero mids).

What's a decent quality pair I can get for ~$20 US? I don't mind replacing them every so often if they deliver good sound quality and they're fairly priced.

Lastly, barring recommendations, would stocking up on mid-range Skullcandy buds be a good idea? They deliver alright quality (would prefer better) and can handle pretty high volumes, but they're more or less guaranteed to break within a few months.

Im not really sure, some cunt took my earbuds while I was at school :/ They were the regular apple earpods. And I am now earbud-less...

Hey man,

I have had Skullcandy's before as well and the bass is okay, but they break pretty fast.
Please take following advice from me:

I have bought these about 2 years ago. It was the greatest buy in earbuds I ever did for that price.

It's a little above your price range, but they are great. Quality and bass is pretty descent (also sounds much cleaner than Skullcandy), but best part about them is they're pretty much indestructable.

Don't know wheter I was lucky or just good earbuds, but they have been in the washing machine for about 7 times and they still work perfectly, I'm not shitting you. Also they hung between the car door once and they dragged a few KM over the road, they were still alive WITHOUT losing any sound quality. There might be better ones out there, but I'm never buying other earbuds than these again. Very good price-quality.

Well I'm a pretty sloppy guy, I use my earbuds everyday but forget them pretty often where I put them. Really though any other earbuds would have died.

I personally have invested in the Jaybird X3 for music. The quality is amazing, and they fit in the ear well too.

Sennheiser MOMENTUM are great, but theyre like $50, otherwise the Symphonized NRG wood in ears got great reviews and theyre like $25, also the SHURE SE112-GR is good for aroun $40. Hope this helps!

Personally i use the bose sport in ear. Water and sweat resistant, super comfortable, great fit. Those are like 120$ if you save up and gettem. They are also pretty damn durable and have a good range of sound
