Do you think you might have a wiring problem? My laptop had the same issue and that was my problem.
I really don't think your PC would be overheating, but I really can't say.
Are the power-offs random, or when you are doing something in particular?

1. Disable hybrid boot
2. Update devices drivers
3. Update BIOS (not too recomended if system unstable)
4. And did you tried remove for a little bit CMOS battery?
5. Maybe try to run power troubleshooter? (They are improving by time)

Hi,

Another appreciated input..

Uhmm... I can say it's random because it occurs when I am just watching movie, or listening to music. However, it often occurs when I use stress it too much and it reaches a certain level of heat - I think it can cook an egg. However, I did not experience it that I disabled one driver with "?". It's a bluetooth peripheral missing driver. I don't think it's the problem though. I am not sure. I am just updating you of what is happening around here cause I believe you can help me.

I also followed some other advice that it's because of duplicate installed driver, I also disabled other audio drivers installed that does not affect the usability of my speakers.

Smile

Hello

1. I am not sure how to, but I'll search it in almighty g.
2. It's all updated.
3. It's updated, too.
4. I am quite sure I don't understand the terminology again. I'll search it.
5. Power trouble shooter told me everything is working fine. Maybe he's still inaccurate?

Thanks for the input... Again I really appreciate it and I believe you can help me. Smile

Disable hybrid boot - windows 8 aren't shutting down fully actually. It hyberinates every time when you "shut it down" and sometimes that is the problem

Sometimes not all latest drivers are avaliable on official laptops homepage so I use driver magician to find my drivers. Download it here (torrent)

You don't have to understand what CMOS means. Important is that it's battery in your computer. Simply saying - it saves your time settings and some settings for your computer. And sometimes if you remove it for little moment and put it back it restores some settings and sort some things back to it's place. (You might have to update your time after putting battery back)

I would love to. However, the option I would like to have is to either switch back to Win7, or stick to this until I find another solution.

I can't switch to linux easily because of work...

Does a laptop have that? I disabled it now. After that, do I have to do anything?

I tried it. It's not letting me down as of now. However, I am not watching movies.. Just working... But I am using my normal applications that I suspect helps trigger the shut off.

I'll tell you after a week, or even tomorrow if I won't encounter the problem...

Thank you so much for helping me, bro...
