RE: Skype with care - Sapientia - 05-19-2013 It sucks because I use Skype for everything. RE: Skype with care - Genesis - 05-21-2013 Darn! I've always been suspicious of Skype. Have only been using it for the last few weeks, and yesterday when I logged in I got one of those "please wait while we are making your experience more enjoyable" or words to that effect notice. Well I hate it to wait to begin with, particularly when Skype says I have to wait pretending it's doing something for me instead of Skype. And then of course while I was waiting had time to think about what Skype was doing while I was waiting. So I guess I'm asking a question too, exactly what is Skype doing when it's asking me to wait? RE: Skype with care - w00t - 05-21-2013 It's updating. As I recall, group chats ARE end-to-end encrypted, I'll have to test. RE: Skype with care - itaxim - 09-03-2014 I remember starting out on IRC and then moving on to other forms of communication... It's funny that the old ways are still going strong RE: Skype with care - Nomma - 09-03-2014 Everything we do is monitored by someone anymore.... Yet while all this happens celebs sue people over privacy... What about companies and the government... RE: Skype with care - rgparadela - 09-03-2014 I don't trusth on Microsoft for my comunications RE: Skype with care - Iceman65 - 09-04-2014 Isn't becoming the norm?? Data collection |
