RE: How to Create this effect in Photoshop - Skielar - 08-07-2013 I'd advise you (if you don't have a graphics tablet) to get a picture of an eye, print it out, and then using first pencil, and once you've finished this stage, fineliner, to draw how you want the lines to be on the finished picture. Do that over the print out of the eye. Then, scan it into your computer and save it your documents. Open it in Photoshop, but the first thing you need to do is save it as a .psd file. Create a new layer and select it. Using the brush tool, draw out the shape you did in pen. Then, create a new layer and fill in any bits that need to be filled in. Now, merge the layers and double click on the layer that remains. A menu should open. Fiddle around with this until you get the desired effect. Now, make the background layer invisible. You now have your finished eye. llayer layre RE: How to Create this effect in Photoshop - Coder-san - 08-07-2013 I can see it's initially a photograph of an eye (see eyelashes). No real vector art is needed. In another layer you have a picture of fire, and you have to blend them. Try fiddling with different blending options. On the topmost layer you have a "black-filled" layer, in which you have to create an outline of an eye and liquify/smudge the borders. Then create another layer on the topmost and add those rendered rays of light. Not more than 4 layers are required for this.
