Yeah VPNs work fine, I don't know about free ones like Hotspot shield.
But paid ones work good, I use one.

I certainly will enjoy myself. I look forward to gaining a lot of knowledge on hacking and programming. I know that computers are my passion so I think i could make a career out of this stuff.
