Terraria was available for free a while ago, its basically minecraft in 2D.
Yeah, maybe I'll get around to trying it out. I'm more of a Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto fan, though.
I know exactly how you feel but if you can come up with great building ideas then you can totally enjoy this game.

Well, I certainly do enjoy building things on the PC version of Minecraft. However, I'll probably be too lazy to download the game, in all honesty.

If you can deal with the 2D aspect of the game then you'll be fine.
