You can't argue against a law by saying that criminals would do it anyway. Why make rape illegal? Criminals will do it anyway.

Good point. But where does that lead? Probably guns being restricted (not banned) and therefore less gun volence... Since killing someone will be harder, less people will go that way; only ones that really really concider it will do it. And those people will always find a way.
