People reselling food for babies is a bit extremeAbsolutely agree. My best friend at work, Is struggling to find baby formula for her grandchild. Every supermarket she's been to, Is out of stock. It's basically putting the baby's health at risk- all due to the selfishness of consumers bulk buying, without any consideration for those In need. Coincidentally, we had a conversation about this at work on Thursday. The moment stores detected behavior consistent with bulk buying, restrictions should've been put In place there and then. Yes and no, the elderly who dont have family or friends to rely on would be very limited when it comes to online purchasing and googling. RE: Coronavirus Self-declared 'hustlers' - Drako - 03-24-2020 You know what people like them are? Dickheads. I'm not sure if it's illegal for citizens to scalp prices, but I know it's illegal for businesses to hike their prices in times of crisis. And laws aside, it's completely idiotic to purchase supplies in build during a time like this. You're hurting other people who actually need things. You shouldn't try to profit off of a pandemic. RE: Coronavirus Self-declared 'hustlers' - sybylroot - 03-24-2020 Here where i live people is going fucking nutss and really crazy with prices, also stores are reselling in mass to those people, i mean what the hell is going on those people heads?, but nobody seems to care (politicians only talking bullshit night & day), that is more painful than the pandemic itself... That sounds pretty intense. |
