Is this messed up or what?
I'm a little disappointed that this behaviour is coming from Canada though :/
I'll give it to them for being ballsy and bragging about their 'exploits' with their real names attached for the world to see.

It's not Isolated there, that's for sure.

In my country, supermarket shelves that contained toilet paper and tissues are completely empty In every location. People are buying and reselling for profit.

It's not hustling. It's profiting off in the stupidity of people.  People in the USA complain about it but it's just an effect of late-stage capitalist society

Can't blame them. When you have an excess demand and price is constant, people will inevitably resell. The same happens with tickets for concerts/events.

I don't see any problem with it. It's the buyer's fault, They can simply look up "How to make hand sanitizer." and be done with it. As I said before it's just idiocy being capitalized o. Just on a much bigger scale.
Point is if you can't be fucked to do a google search, you deserve it.

all versions of Price gouging is illegal in some states, such as mine! Biggrin

Some—including Alabama, Florida, and Maine—forbid selling at an "unconscionable" price. Idaho and Texas ban sales at an "exorbitant or excessive price." And New York splits the difference with restrictions on "unconscionably excessive price" increases during an emergency, according to FindLaw.5 days ago

Totally agree tho, but just find out who it is, and raid them during the apocalypse Biggrin

I take issue with some of the more essential products, like baby formula. People reselling food for babies is a bit extreme, especially when online stocks for those products are disappearing.

There are many products that are just out of stock literally everywhere. And alternatives are disappearing too. For very low-income families, this kind of behavior is really impacting them and just isn't necessary. There are other ways to monetize in a crisis.
