RE: How anonymous is Bitcoin? - Foxbat - 07-31-2019 Bitcoin is highly trackable and anybody can see the information; it's NOT anonymous. You have to use tumblers, but even that can be undone. USE MONERO. I can't speak for other privacycoins like Zcash but if you want to safely send coins anonymously, use Monero. I always thought they couldn’t but is that true?No Bitcoins can not be tracked. I have heard this is not true, and after setting up several accounts myself, wallets, etc. IDK how anyone would THINK that it IS anonymous. Decentralized currency in its current form, is beat down by the Financial Institution, now you pay tax, now you are logged, now it is no longer decentralized... its only another bubble, that can be taken advantage of, its the wild west of crypto currency. RE: How anonymous is Bitcoin? - marioni1368 - 08-04-2019 Libra by facebook...try it.. RE: How anonymous is Bitcoin? - lmuftimalik - 08-08-2019 like all said, it can be tracked with harsh transaction way but still anonymous than paypal though. RE: How anonymous is Bitcoin? - Nork0i - 08-08-2019 Three points to remember about bitcoin and the lack of anonymity: ONE - Bitcoins zip around randomly on a peer-to-peer network BUT the whole thing isn't water tight. People can trace transactions if they connect multiple nodes to the Bitcoin network...so basically they can gather the data off those nodes and piece together the transaction pattern. TWO - It's easy to trip up and expose real identities on the Bitcoin network if you use real addresses to put in/take out money from an exchange or wallet service etc THREE - All transactions are completely transparent and traceable by anyone on the Bitcoin network. Multiple bitcoin addresses are clustered together through this transparency and can point towards particular users. SO if a clustered address is linked to a real world identity through other de-anonymizing methods....all the clustered addresses linked to that address can be. Trust nothing and keep your money under your bed basically
RE: How anonymous is Bitcoin? - svvvk - 08-09-2019 It's not easy to be tracked like PayPal but it isn't 100%safe RE: How anonymous is Bitcoin? - baarkyy - 08-31-2019 If u acces ur wallets from fake ip addresses and don t use ID or ur real information when u withdraw money...its no way u can be found. RE: How anonymous is Bitcoin? - audi887 - 10-25-2019 XMR is more anonymous than BTC and LTC and etherum. so trying that and take it with a pinch of salt. RE: How anonymous is Bitcoin? - ChristopherHALK - 11-02-2019 I don't think that privacy is solid nowadays. As well as btc. RE: How anonymous is Bitcoin? - Seafoam - 11-16-2019 Let's just say if they want to find you about it they can oddly if it's through nature |
