Precisely.

If your ISP Is providing the maximum speed to your line/cable, and your equipment Is accommodating & delivering that (maximum) speed to your devices, then you cannot Increase It.

Only thing I can think of is if you're on a shared internet connection that isn't solely for your own use, you could just route more bandwidth towards yourself.

If there's "available" bandwidth that's consumed by other users, I definitely agree.

It's logical, that you cannot get more than what's provided by your ISP. An analogy Is a vehicle that has a top speed of 200 Mph. Stock standard, you can't push more than the motor can provide.

I own my internet connection from my ISP. but for my area, I only get 50 Mbps but in other areas, they get 1000 MBPS.

Hahaha all jokes aside, make sure your equipment (modem, router, cables) can support the speeds that you are paying for from your ISP.
You'd probably need a CAT5 with this one an RJ45's with silver contacts on it. And they say the ones with the gray sleeved wires are recommended for good and fast connection. As for the batteries, 9V are better. It's bigger that those AAA batteries. Good investment actually.

There is a software that combines all the connections around I can not remember the name but it is very use I recommend it really takes a router also its cost rather expensive but it's worth it with a usb wifi key and here you are ready to travel from anywhere
