Do you mean increasing you internet speed more than what your ISP is giving you? As far as I know, you can't increase it further unless you pay for more. But if you mean maximizing the internet speed that your ISP is giving, yes you can afaik. For example you have a plan of 50Mbps but when you go to speedtest you're only getting at around 25-30Mbps, you can manually change your DNS.

Precisely.

If your ISP Is providing the maximum speed to your line/cable, and your equipment Is accommodating & delivering that (maximum) speed to your devices, then you cannot Increase It.

Only thing I can think of is if you're on a shared internet connection that isn't solely for your own use, you could just route more bandwidth towards yourself. Other than that the ISP entirely determines your speed. Could try SEing them as well.

be careful, i heard if you use batteries bigger than AAA that your internet will actually go too fast and may not be able to stop it.

Hahaha all jokes aside, make sure your equipment (modem, router, cables) can support the speeds that you are paying for from your ISP.

Use an ethernet connection, make sure your DNS is performing at its maximum capability, and check to see what's happening with your internet in the background. Things could be downloading without your knowledge. For that you can download an application like Glasswire. And if your ISP is really throttling your speed for no reason, just contact them and you may be able to work something out.
