I purchase a bundle deal that can recur each month, or I can choose not to continue it, or I can purchase a totally different deal. This doesn't include the cost of the phone, but the service I use does offer monthly payments for new phones (with the data/calls/texts still pay as you go). Yes, It seems like the prepaid plan Is very similar to pay as you go. The huge advantage with prepaid (my plan, not all are the same), Is that the monthly quota accumulates. At the moment, I have 70GB sitting there. But for £50 a month i got an iPhone 8 64gb free Spotify for a year and a ps4 RE: Need Advice fellow BRITS - Razerr - 12-11-2018 (12-11-2018, 04:33 PM)Clarence Wrote:(12-03-2018, 05:52 PM)Razerr Wrote: So i went to carphone warehouse and they got a S9 for 34 quid a month 2 yr contract with unlim text & min with 15 gb data and no upfront cost. i'm thinking of getting that tomz as it's the last day. but if i wait a bit longer i was wondering will there be better deals for xmas. ty in advance folks. ah nice i had sim only deal with three for nearly 2 years. i got s9 for 30 quid a month with unlim text n min with 30gb data and paid 80 up front. total cost of ownership for 2 years is 800 but got 100 quid cash back which is nice. Sounds like you got some really cool stuff. Although, I don't think I'd ever spend 50 a month on a phone. I'd rather purchase the PS4 outright and get something different. To each their own though. I've never spent more than roughly a tenner a month on my phone, and purchased phones outright/done giffgaffs phone loan option (aka, just pay for the phone and you're not held to anything else so you can leave/choose a different phone etc). How long do you have your contract for? I only go with a contract because it helps me figure out my month a lot better on the basis I don't have to worry about being down x amount but my contract is 14 months I think it was. RE: Need Advice fellow BRITS - Antisocial❤ - 12-13-2018 Be careful getting a contract with 3, I worked as a debt collector agent and we held contracts for 3 and a lot of people got into large amounts of debt from their contract renewing from people thinking it just ends I'd advise you have a look at your T&C's because you need to give a 30 day written notice informing them that you opt out once your contract runs out.
