One order I placed on November 21st... I am still waiting for. 3.5 weeks is a little silly. The item cost all of 80 cents, so it's not even worth asking for a refund. My goodness, that's ridiculous. No kidding! I finally got through to someone who knew what they were doing. Turns out none of the other 4-5 people I spoke to could be bothered to listen to me, and on the last attempt someone finally did. There was a technical hiccup at the distribution centre, so they resent the item out under new tracking info and it arrived in about 3-4 days. Thanks to their lazy customer service, I'll likely never shop there again. It's not difficult to make a few enquiries and resolve the matter, Is It? I agree. There's a reason customer service is so important! RE: Windows 11 - Your Thoughts? - convector - 12-22-2021 From my own perspective, ever since Windows 11,was released and was freely posted at teamos-hkrg, I tried it out in a VM. Looks all optimized so I tried it out on one of my machines that is compatible with the TPM 2.0 and I have concluded that it performs faster than Windows 11 and it doesn't ask too many questions. I also tried it out with gaming and it is much more better than Windows 10. The only bad things I had problems with Windows 11 was the drivers so I had to install a driver tool to get all the missing drivers that weren't automatically detected. So far I have no problems with it, and it performs close to the speed of Manjaro and Arch in my own opinion. RE: Windows 11 - Your Thoughts? - delta_glitch - 12-24-2021 I think it's good, but I'm not going to install it yet. RE: Windows 11 - Your Thoughts? - fronti - 12-25-2021 I installed windows 11 a few days ago. In term of performances I haven't noticed any change, about the UI I liked the menu more in windows 10 but I agree that the icons are nicer now, same for context menus. I feel it looks a bit like IOS RE: Windows 11 - Your Thoughts? - mothered - 12-25-2021 (12-25-2021, 01:15 PM)fronti Wrote: I installed windows 11 a few days ago.I've noticed a huge difference In bootup & shutdown times, as well as hibernation and general navigation within the Windows environment. A lot faster than Windows 10. I'm running the very latest hardware (NVMe SSD, 32 GB Of Ram @ 3200 MHz 11th Gen CPU), so perhaps that's responsible for performance gain. RE: Windows 11 - Your Thoughts? - Oni - 02-17-2022 They recently pushed a build to Insiders: https://wccftech.com/finally-a-new-windows-11-build-ni_release-build-22557-drops/ Looks like a bunch of QoL features that we'll only use a fraction of. Still interesting.
