Nice specs.

I'm still waiting to pickup another Acer Nitro with the RTX 3080. It's currently not In stock, hence I have It on backorder.

Have you been given a lead time on when you can expect it to come back into stock?

I was told 2 weeks, and that was 3 weeks ago.

Now they're saying It should arrive next week. The operative word Is "should" which Is a probability, so I'm taking It with a grain of salt.

There were some minor tweaks regarding memory/CPU-use that got patched, but nothing you would have ever noticed with specs like that.

Biggest issue I noticed was the requirement of TPM.

I don't know why Microsoft have decided to force the TPM chip on Windows 11, and not previous versions of the OS.

I bet that will be a pretty beast of a laptop! Hopefully you can get it sooner than later!

I will have to upgrade it when I have some free time so I can start to get a feel for it and what I like!

At this time of year, it's hard to get anything on time. With the exception to items I ordered via Amazon, I have not received a single item on time. One order I placed on November 21st... I am still waiting for. 3.5 weeks is a little silly. The item cost all of 80 cents, so it's not even worth asking for a refund.

Yes, It's a pretty powerful unit.

I can't wait to benchmark It.

I absolutely agree.

In such circumstances, they should be honest and upfront, as opposed to making false promises. I've worked In warehousing, logistics and Inventory management for decades and It's not too difficult to forecast an ETA +/- a few days.

My goodness, that's ridiculous.

I could've rowed to Japan and back a lot quicker.

In my experience, It's quicker and more responsive than Windows 10.

I'd say you won't be disappointed.
