If you change them to faster / more secure ones, that's not considered a hack. Also this has nothing to do with Windows 10 whatsoever. The ones listed In the article ( IPv4 ) are OpenDNS. I've testing countless servers, and the majority had no Impact on my browsing experience. It's a very poor preventative method. Using alternative DNS servers like this contribution, will circumvent It. As mentioned and as with this contribution, simply add your own DNS servers. Alternatively, when using a VPN, It's their DNS servers that take effect.
