Messi retires from international football - Zodiac - 06-27-2016 So it turns out Messi retired and it shocked me a lot. I would've never thought he would've done that yet considering he is 29 years old. I think the reason why he retired was because he was just disappointed that he wasn't winning any national trophies so he gave up. Which is understandable. If you want to read up on it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36637591 RE: Messi retires from international football - Zaiken - 06-27-2016 Wow, i never thought he would retire. pretty disappointing for most of the argentine squad since alot of players are world class. RE: Messi retires from international football - Limited Edition_mybb_import25645 - 06-27-2016 Argentina are still an awesome side without him but that was a shock to me also. Imagine if it was Ronaldo who retired instead, Portugal wouldn't even make it into the Euro's and definitely not the knock out stages. I know they have some other good players but that team pretty much relies on Ronaldo right now. Do you not see how frustrated he has been after every single game so far lol RE: Messi retires from international football - Zaiken - 06-27-2016 (06-27-2016, 01:57 PM)Limited Edition Wrote:(06-27-2016, 01:36 PM)Mini Para Wrote:(06-27-2016, 01:28 PM)Limited Edition Wrote: Argentina are still an awesome side without him but that was a shock to me also. I don't see portugal just as ronaldo the definition of a one man team is sweeden not portugal. RE: Messi retires from international football - Aiko - 06-27-2016 I saw this on SnapChat. Austria probably would of won, Ronaldo had like 14 shots that game, like 90% of Portugal's total. Take him out of the Hungary game, they would of lost 3-1, possibly more. They wouldn't of made it through the group stages without him lol RE: Messi retires from international football - Zaiken - 06-27-2016 (06-27-2016, 06:40 PM)Limited Edition Wrote: Take him out.
