Messi retires from international football #1
So it turns out Messi retired and it shocked me a lot. I would've never thought he would've done that yet considering he is 29 years old. I think the reason why he retired was because he was just disappointed that he wasn't winning any national trophies so he gave up. Which is understandable.

Wow, i never thought he would retire. pretty disappointing for most of the argentine squad since alot of players are world class.

Argentina are still an awesome side without him but that was a shock to me also. Imagine if it was Ronaldo who retired instead, Portugal wouldn't even make it into the Euro's and definitely not the knock out stages.

I know man. I reckon Argentina will still survive without him.

I assume you haven't been watching the Euro's? lmao. I know they have some other good players but that team pretty much relies on Ronaldo right now. Do you not see how frustrated he has been after every single game so far lol

Take him out. Austria probably would of won, Ronaldo had like 14 shots that game, like 90% of Portugal's total. Take him out of the Hungary game, they would of lost 3-1, possibly more. They wouldn't of made it through the group stages without him lol

take him out a new player would be there, imo ronaldo plays extremely greedy you never know what happens if he keeps the ball and doesnt just shoot.
