How to find your old posts, thx in part to Google Cache - roger_smith - 11-15-2014
While we're waiting for Europol to hopefully new screw us over, it may be possible to find some of the posts you previously had. I just pulled most of my posts that I really wanted to have here from Google's cache by doing the following:

site:sinister.ly roger_smithYou should get a lot of hits with your username. Find the posts of interest, and you're probably good to go. Of the posts I wanted to save, only 1 wouldn't work. I copied them into a notepad file and I will fix them later to display right within the forum.
Find the one you want, hover over it, click the arrow and click on "cached".

I do too, but there was some stuff I think needs to come back, so I grabbed most of my tips, and my SE discussion. My intro to linux post is saved on my system because I want to expand on it and eventually publish it as a book/ebook.

I did, but I cannot figure it out. I tried searching google with the information you put in the code, with my username, but it only found one page, and it says it does not exist.

some of your data may not have been cached then :-/
It's only as good as google's cache
I just did it with your username and found significantly more than 1 thread

Does it have to be with the Chrome browser? Someone told me a while ago that it only worked with Chrome.
