They're at least somewhat well made:

I will buy a phone from China as long as it is not from Foxconn, I give China chances with a lot of things but electronics seems to be a big downfall when it comes to China at least products made for the US.

But be real do you expect people who are getting paid $400/month working long days to really care for products that are put out?. Maybe is they increased the pay roll to something more realistic then workers would care more.

I mean Iphones sell so they must be doing something right but from the experiences that were in my family and from what I have seen I will not purchase an Apple product whether it be Chinese, Taiwanese, American or German. A lot of people said that ever since Steve died Apple went down hill.

Either way I choose American made over Chinese made, that is one of the biggest problems with our country we import too much rather then export.

My sister had to send her Iphone 5 in 3 times for repair, Her husband had to warranty out his Iphone 6 after a month of owing it because it randomly stopped working.

Then the Isight camera bullshit that came around.

I have been using Android for a long time I have gone through 2.2, 2.3 (never had 3.0) up to 4.1 and currently running 4.4.4 Kit Kat and never really had any problems.

Now I will admit there was a couple of times where my current phone running 4.4.4 randomly rebooted itself but it never showed any signs of damage or problems as a after result.

Android never failed me, but instead I failed it because I was a dumb ass and broke my phone tripping on the charger cord and lol that didn't end well for the phone.

How can you have a negative opinion on something you never used? I mean I owned both and prefer Iphones, if I broke my screen, the battery went bad I fixed it myself it isn't that hard.

Structurally yes, functionality In terms of reliability and longevity, perhaps not.

By the way, amazing video. I didn't think any phone could withhold a test like that.

The experience through my family, why would I buy something that is over-priced that has failed in my family multiple times when Android has not failed anyone in my family that has owned one and you can get decent spec Androids for half the price of a Iphone.

Also Android is known to be more expandable and customizable.

It's just my choice from experience in my family, and I am pretty sure even Iphone users who love there Iphones would agree the price of buying the phone outright is too much

Iphone 6
Storage: 16GB
1GB Ram
Display 4.7" 750x1334 pixels
Dual-core 1.4 GHz Typhoon
Camera Rear 8 Megapixel
GPU PowerVR GX6450
Video 1080p@60fps, 720p@240fps
PRICE: $600+

Motorola X (Pure Edition)
Storage: 16GB
3GB Ram
Dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A57
GPU Adreno 418
Display 5.7" 1440x2560 pixels
Camera 21 Megapixel
Video 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps, HDR
$350 to $400

These are just the base model versions there is high up storage, etc but that is a comparison. To me it looks lik the Moto X is the bigger bang for the buck.

Now of course get what you prefer but the comparison above is to show just how over-priced Iphone is for the specs provided.

I mean they could at least provide a more fair price for there base model for potential users, sure you get discounts if you enter into a contract with either of the phones above but not everybody wants to sign a contract but with the Iphone you really don't got a choice for the average person making minimum or slightly over minimum wage, there is bills to pay.

Hence, the behind the scenes of Apple not so much being that of an Apple, but far more akin to CrApple.

The only thing I never really understood about Apple is why they would make their phones larger. Pretty sure Steve Jobs is rolling over in his grave.
