Unfortunately, going to another ISP is not an option for @l33t:

My goodness, so If they go down, the entire country loses Internet connectivity?

Just to touch base with you, are you still experiencing Issues with everything mentioned thus far?

If you're running a dynamic IP, It's strange that multiple reboots didn't assign a new one.

I have a modem with a built in router, so I have no idea how/if to reset that.

Then how do you know (apart from a slow internet connection) that you are being DDosed? It's rather rare that home networks are being targetted, and if your ISP doesn't notice it it's even more weird.

Also if your ISP doesn't know what a (D)Dos attack is, go to another ISP because then they are just fucking retards. Pretty much every 12 year old nowadays nows what it is

I know I'm being ddosed for sure, there's no questioning that. And as mentioned before, my amazing socialist country only has 1 ISP so I can't switch, they don't need to invest in customer support or hire professionals, because we can't go to another ISP.

Yes, still having the same issue. I unplugged my entire internet for a week while I was on vacation and still didn't get a new IP when I plugged it back in.

EDIT: I tried calling them again, the lady thought she knew what a ddos was and recommended me to change the password of my internet. So yeah I guess don't expect any help from them, she told me there is no way for them to change my IP other than buying a new €200 modem.

Where and how are they getting your IP? I would just change to dynamic via calling your ISP.

They only got my IP once, a few months back when a gaming network I played on got compromised and hundreds of thousands of IPs got leaked, including mine. I called my ISP and apparently I have a "dynamic IP" because they only give out static IPs on demand, but my IP hasn't changed in months and that's how they keep ddosing me.

Also keep in mind that the router (in 99% of the cases) also keeps a log file. It could be disabled by default, but usually it isn't. If OP posted that information here it could be of great assistence too.

@OP, if you post shit like that don't forget to remove/black-out personal information that you don't want SL members to see.
I'll try to see if I can find such a thing, since we have a modem with a built in router or something it works differently and I can't directly acces my router.

if it got compromised months ago and, you were on the same IP since, you have a dynamic, then WTF IS THE PROBLEM.
1. You have a dynamic IP which for sure within that time, you would have a new ip allocated to you. (If it doesn't change, then the ISP is fucking with you)
2. No way you should be getting ddosed. Could be possibly your connection within the ISP. Have you ask your ISP if any faults are occurring on there side because, that could be the case or, get a technician out.
3. and who wants to ddos a person that chills on SL forums. They have no reason to so, looks like you aren't getting ddosed. It has to be your ISP.

Generally speaking, there's a hole at the back of the unit and upon Inserting a paperclip for 5-10 seconds, It will reset the modem/router.

Once you see lights flashing, It will reboot & reset back to It's factory state.

As I said many times, I know I'm getting ddosd, I'm 100% sure of this. Just because I'm on the SL forum means I can't get ddosed? I don't see how that has anything to do with each other while I'm obviously active in many other communities. As for my IP, my ISP told me it's dynamic, if they tell me it's a dynamic IP, I don't know what else to say.

Just gonna quote you head, before doing so, make sure you get the email details and password that is stored in the router as "PPP Setting".
