Go to Facebook, and enter the victims email in the email box and enter some passwords randomly so you get them wrong.
I'm not sure if it's instantly or if you have to enter the wrong password a couple of times.

Now, you'll hopefully if the email is connected with a facebook account you'll get this page:

I think that only works if you have previously logged into that account from the same computer or ip address.

It's not that difficult to make a program that could do this anyway, just use some regular expression to see if there's an image in the form or the missing username textfield.

unfortunately services like Spokeo and Intellius will give you answers,but on a paid service report. Like it was stated above,if you get full headers on a email;then the originating ip should give you an idea. Most Ip addresses point directly to the ISP.

The program would go to facebook attempt to login a few times and after (I believe third attempt) is asks "Is this you [insert name here]?" along with a profile picture. I think the script could try to login into facebook a few times with that account and pull the name and picture of that person and display it.

Yeah, that's all very simplistic. I was thinking of something more thorough. Like going to Facebook, attempting to log in, get the failure screen, pull the user's information, and then use that data for a number of different sites/methods to gather even more information on the user.
