* Install a VM on your Linux physical machine.
* Install a Windows OS on the VM.
* Do NOT Install an AV, and If using Windows 8 or Windows 10, disable Real-Time protection In Windows Defender.
* Run your tools to your heart's content.

Problem solved with both compatibility Issues with Linux and false positive detections via the AV.

great. Smile
is there a different text editor that I can use besides nano ?

Nano Is Linux-based, and you won't be using that If you've Installed Windows on a VM on your Linux physical machine as explained above.

yes I know. but what is the other text editors that I can use beside nano in Linux. That I can use if I did use Linux ?
My IT skills that I know perfect is SQL, HTML ,css ,wordpress, PHP.

You can try Atom and/or Emacs.

Both are also compatible with other platforms.

You're welcome.

They're both free, so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

That's strange because when you exit Nano, It should prompt to save all changes and do just that.

Try hitting Ctrl + O and see If It saves.
