I would think of it as a gift, I can learn from time. But the only thing that would be sad is that everyone I would know will age and die as I keep on living. That kinda blows.

I think immortality would give people a greater understanding of how most things are temporary, funnily enough.

I would be able to live happy knowing I'm not going to die.

A life extension to maybe 300 years is nice, but immortality is going get boring, it's like being forced to play a huge RPG game forever.

But hey, if you get bored, you can just freeze yourself to a certain time when you want to "re-play" the game.

I agree. Even good things should come to an end. It seems unbalanced to me, to have a beginning, without an end.

I like to liken life as being similar to a candy bar. The first taste is delicious and you think you want to have more, but have too much of it after a while and you'll be sick of it.

Well it is kinda serious but as you have seen some people aren't 100% serious.

Anyways I'd love the fact I could live to be 1000 years old and still know I'm going to see more, although it might seem you could go everywhere and do everything you want to do. Over time technology will advance and wars will happen, you would be able to be apart of these and also be able to see the changes in the world, maybe even bend them.

It would be pretty cool to be immortal, but there's always that one person who will dismember you and you must live infinitely and not be able to do anything; therefor its a curse.
