The article is a bit too detailed to be a prank. I recall Google making similar jokes, though.

Yeah, I meant Google had a 360-view thing developed for 4/1, and now they're actually releasing it.

How the hell are these even filmed, and how big are the damn video files? High frame rate AND 360 view must be just ridiculous.

360 videos have been available for some time. But streaming it? Yikes, talk about bandwidth.
