I have the original controller and XBOX. This controller has a rechargeable battery pack. When I put in the charger cord it glows but the controller won't turn on, any tips?

Maybe it's old and needs to be replaced. Companies don't build stuff to last forever you know.

They put cadmium rechargable batteries in the older Xbox controllers, unfortunately they are only good for so many charges and have a 20% fail rate on initial charge. You will need to exchange it
