Sure religion is used to manipulate people into voting on one person, and that would probably still happen, but we would be way more developed without it and I would stop having to be forced to church every-time a friend or a family member decides they want to get married or have a kid.

Yes, i'm aware of what the Church has done more than you could probally ever imagine...
But please don't forget, religion isn't composed only by Christanity and it's branches.

And again, I stand by my claim that religion only got sidetracked because people started to mix politics and their own obsessions into it, which is why it has been divided into so many branches, that mostly talk about the same thing.

Religion originally teached about out morals and a common way of living, especially to the people on the lowest stage of the social pyramid. About what is right and about what is wrong. It gave people hope and guidance and helped to ease their anxiety about what would happen to them after their Death.

You also listed quite the common minus sides about religion/Christianity. But what about the plusses? You probally are aware that the Bible was amongst the first mass-produced books worldwide. Most working-class people learned to read because of the Bible and the religious teachings. And for a reminder, the Church is the reason such a thing like Marriage has formed so far, so it's of course common that the wedding would take part in a Church, but of course if you'd really hate that you can always do it somewhere else, it's rather symbolic anyway.

Overall, if you think this is just the breaching of a religious fanatic who is obsessed with something that is force-fed to him, you're wrong. I've been an atheist since i was a child and have also a personal grudge against Christianity, nevertheless I always remain rational about and respect everyone who decides to live their life along a doctrine, it is easier to live that way afterall.

Though religion does give people answers. answers to things that science cannot answer yet. If there was no religion, the world would be driven to a time when people would be depressed about what's after death and stuff...
The things you said about wars is true, there would be so many less wars without religion. But suicide counts would go skyhigh

That is true because religion was made when people were walking around looking for answers, and this 'book' that was written by the OG basement dweller did give them answers, but I remember seeing a video made by Steven Hawkings and a few other scientist prooving that there is and never has been time for a 'god' to do any of which it says in the bible and at this age and time it is just silly to believe in religion.
Also, I wasn't exactly raised in a very religious home, however I somewhat understand what its all about but the fact that I have never had answers to any of these answers has not exactly made me depressed. Also, lets say you were right, how is that a bad thing? This would mean survival of the mentally fit and would also fix the coming issue were going to face in about a hundred years time where we're too many people on earth and we eventually will start starving due to not having enough food.

True; Although thinking of these questions that I can't answer has made me "depressed" not for a long time, but I've always wanted to know. That's the kind of a person I am, information hungry.
And no, im not religious either, I am just giving you a reason to why religion was there.
In a way religion has made the people that believed stronger; survival of the fittest, as you said. People that didn't believe would have been scared of things like rain or storms; the religious ones wouldn't have.
Also, even without religion people will still find a reason to fight, they always will...
