If the pay is good and I can choose most of my targets, then why not.
I'd probally use the goverment information and equipment for my own heinous purposes though...

Hell yeah I would! Although I'd never be able to pirate anything again. But getting paid to browse SL the net all day looking for baddies would be a fun job.

If it paid well enough and I didn't have my shit all over the place as "Oh hey I work for the NSA, hate me guise", and it wasn't some stupid mundane job, then I'd consider it.

As Lux said, if they have good pay then yes. I would probably make more than the job I have now. But I know that is not what you are asking. And also yes. I would work for them if I could because I would be helping to secure the United States.

I have contracted for the NSA, so take this with a grain of salt.

The NSA doesn't pay their regular employees that well. They're on a federal pay schedule. The kickass part is the benefits.

The NSA does do good things. They prevent attacks on US interests across the globe, by monitoring signals intelligence. You might not like the privacy breaches, but I view this as a necessary evil.

Yes, some of the things they do are morally questionable. Most do not shatter any morals, merely bend them, and it provides a greater good.
