Women in the UFC #1
Anybody who follows the happenings in the UFC will know that Dana White has only really just agreed to have a women's division in the UFC.

I am a woman, and I fully support women doing everything that men do, and so I love that women are able to become MMA fighters, and I love it even more that they have reached the grand stage of the UFC.

But a lot of other people don't like to see women fighting, for various reasons - both valid, and some misogynistic.

What do you think of female MMA fighters? Yay or Nay?

As long as they're in their female division and not versing men, I support it. Girls can say they are as strong as males, but if you put a girl in a fight with a male, the male will fucking destroy the female every time, not being sexist.

I love Ronda Rousey Biggrin

I will fight you over this and I will win!! Tongue

It all comes down to skills and technique at the end of the day. I don't know if you watched this years TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) but when Rhonda came into the house to caoch Cheal Sonnen's team, and she was sparring and doing some ground work with Uriah Hall, she got Uriah Hall to tap out twice.

He said that he was glad that TUF didn't show the footage of him getting owned by Rhonda on television lol.

I see no problem with a woman playing along side men. If she can prove that she can hold her own against them and be a strong competitor then why not. I don't see why there have to be separate teams for women. Now, I do have a different view on locker rooms, yes those should be separate, LOL.

I used to watch a bit, but I never follow up on it anymore. Has it gotten better over the past 3 years?

That depends on what your opinion of 'better' is. I heard that when the UFC first started out, that it had no weight classes and anybody could fight anybody, regardless of if they were heavyweights or whatever. I don't know if that is what you are referring to?

I have been watching it over the past three years, and it is so entertaining.

The addition of the women's division is just a plus. And it helps that some of these women are hotties too Smile

I am a woman so I know how life is when you are living in predominantly man's world and trying to prove yourself all of the time, when we have more things to deal with than men do. We have to power through it and not just be at the same level as men, but be better. It sucks but that is the way it is, and it is no different for female UFC fighters.

The last women's fight I watched on the last UFC event, those two women tore each other apart. Now the winner is going to get to fight Rhonda for the title. I am impressed with how beautiful some of these female fighters are. I may try to get into the UFC just so that I can roll around with them on top of me ; )
