So I always had to go into my dentist and get my teeth removed by them. One time I went in and the dentist I guess forgot to numb 6 year old me's mouth, so I got my teeth yanked out while still retaining all feeling so I dread the idea of getting my wisdom teeth removed. I don't have a fear of the dentist or anything, it's just the idea of getting teeth removed makes me cringe now.
Well go to a different dentist but for wisdom teeth surgery you get 2 choices NOS or IV sedation and both you won't remember shit because NOS knocks you out and the IV sedation causes forced amnesia and a calm state.
Day 1 no paint (drugs were still in effect)
Day 2 slight pain/stinging
Day 3 swelling eases off a lot stinging subsides but slight pain sort of like if you very slightly bite your finger tip.
Day 4 swelling almost gone, left side only slight discomfort, right side slight discomfort however the bottom feels slightly irritated but nothing major. Ate my first solid food which was eggs.
I also have not been taking the prescribed pain medication as I don't like drugs in my system.
I highly suggest you get your wisdom teeth removed ASAP because the longer you wait the deeper the roots go which means the more complicated the surgery can be and longer recovery just go get it done and over with it sucks there is no denying that trust me I want a juicy cheese burger but I cant eat something that solid just yet but at least its done and over with and ill never need to worry about it again. I got me a bag of spicy buffalo boneless chicken in the freezer waiting for me.
The 1st 3 days stick with jello and yogurt and the 4th give fluffy scrambled eggs a try but rinse your mouth out after eating anything gently though if you create suction you can pop the clot and cause a dry socket which I heard is awful hopefully I am out of the woods with the risk of that being that i'm on day 4.
Also I did gently brush my teeth today with tooth paste but no mouth wash as alcohol and a wound don't mix well they do mix for disinfecting purposes but everybody who has done it said they regret it because it stings so bad.
I will wait until the stitches are removed and a day or two after before I go for mouth wash. (Unfortunately I found out my stitches are non-dissolving which is the main reason of my checkup appointment on Monday I believe which means they need to be taken out)
